What are two or three things all economic interest groups want from government?

It is quite difficult to lump all interest groups together due to their diversity. Sometimes interest groups oppose each other. Interest groups are groups of people who unite to use political influence, in the form of votes and/or money, to ensure that the government passes laws that are favorable to their issue.
Economic interest groups focus on issues like taxation, trade, and government budgets. They fall into two main camps: those who desire low taxes and conservative government and those who wish for an expanded government with a larger budget.
All economic interest groups want bills passed that meet their needs. They organize voting rallies, petition lawmakers, and give to whichever party will best support their interests. This is true of both progressive and conservative economic interest groups. All economic interest groups also desire to see candidates in office who think the same way they do. They give to political action committees (PACs) in order to get their candidates elected. If a candidate changes his/her stance on an economic issue such as trade or taxation, the interest group will move on and pick another candidate in the next election while launching attacks on the previous candidate.
