While I can't write this essay for you, I can certainly point you in the right direction.
The author's style refers to the way they choose to put words together. You need to think about how words and phrases are put together to make meaning—and what kind of meaning the author ends up making.
It's important to use adjectives that describe the style. For example, if the author you have chosen is describing an argument between two characters, using short sentences or abrupt phrases, you could describe the style as "terse."
If the author uses lots of colloquialisms and slang words, the style could be described as informal or laid-back. On the other hand, if the English is very proper, it could be described as formal in style.
The question has asked you to discuss the author's work as well as external sources, so you are going to need to find essays, comments, or criticisms on the work that you are examining. If the author you have chosen has written more than one book, I would recommend citing examples from more than one book they have written.
