What did Stargirl leave in the mailbox the day Leo followed her after school?

This is a really great sequence in the book because readers are likely to suspect that Stargirl realizes Leo is following her, and those suspicions are proven true much later in the book. In chapter 3, Leo is following Stargirl, and he's hoping that he learns some information that will help him make sense of her; however, he winds up with more questions than answers. The mailbox moment is one such moment. Leo sees Stargirl leave something in the mailbox of a random person's home. Leo is so curious that he takes the item out of the mailbox. It turns out it is a homemade card that says, "Congratulations!" Leo will eventually learn that the card is one of Stargirl's many acts of kindness she does for seemingly random people. It turns out that her kindness isn't as random as it appears. She combs through city bulletin boards and newspaper announcements to figure out which person is in need of her special support.
