There are two poems written by William Wordsworth titled "To a Butterfly". In one of these poems, Wordsworth includes mention of a yellow flower. The other poem does not mention the yellow flower.
In the first stanza of one of the poems, the speaker is watching a butterfly that is poised upon a yellow flower, and the speaker wonders whether the tranquil butterfly is sleeping or eating. Then, in the second stanza, the speaker describes how the wind pulls the butterfly back out into the open sky. In the third stanza, the speaker invites the butterfly to come rest in his orchard whenever it pleases. In the final stanza, the speaker invites the butterfly to reminisce about the sweet days of summer and days gone by.

Is there a yellow flower in the poem To a Butterfly by William Wordsworth? Are there two versions of the poem?
