Where did Harry live when his parents were still alive?

The Potter family live in a cottage in a village known as Godric's Hollow. It is located in the city of Cottonbridge, England. Harry lived in the cottage with his mother and father as a baby. However, there was a prophecy that Harry would defeat the villain Lord Voldemort. He is frequently described as the Dark Lord throughout the book. Lord Voldemort killed both of Harry's parents because of their involvement with protecting their son Harry. They were also members to the Order of the Phoenix, and were very powerful wizards. Lord Voldemort wanted to recruit them Death Eaters. They refused to join the Dark Lord which only created more anger and fear from Lord Voldemort. Lord Voldemort is afraid the prophecy will come true, so he tries to prevent it from happening. After Lily and James were killed, Harry is sent to live with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Dursley.

Harry Potter only lived with his parents for a very brief period of his early life. His parents, James and Lily Potter, were murdered by Voldemort, in an attempt to get to Harry, when he was a year and three months old. At this time, Voldemort believed that Harry was the fulfillment of a prophecy which would lead to the downfall of the Dark Lord. He killed Harry's parents because they tried to get in his way.
At this time, Harry was living in Godric's Hollow, where Lily and James lived. Godric's Hollow makes a significant appearance in the later books of the series, but Harry does not really remember much about it. After his parents' death, he was sent to live with his aunt and uncle, the Dursleys, in a provincial Muggle housing estate.
