What does Nenita's herbalista friend feel about Nenita's husband in "Preludes" by Daryll Delgado?

To put it bluntly, she thinks that Nenita's husband is no good. And it's hard to disagree with this assessment given that he's a serial philanderer. But Nenita's friend doesn't just want Nenita to leave her husband; she wants her to kill him. More to the point, she wants her to kill him with poison.
As an expert herbalist, Nenita's friend is very knowledgeable when it comes to poisons; she knows which ones would be the most effective in getting rid of Nenita's problem. And Nenita does indeed buy some poison, which leads us to believe that she's going to take the drastic step of murdering her husband.
But she doesn't go through with it. When all's said and done, and despite her husband's numerous infidelities, Nenita still loves him, and so is not prepared to follow her friend's murderous advice. The poison that she buys gives her a sense of security more than anything else, a sense that she's doing something rather than being the passive victim of her husband's rampant adultery.
